?? about suzuki quad

I came across a guy who is selling a 87 suzuki lt125 for $800. Plastics are pretty good, a little cracked on one corner and 2 tires are new. It would be for my 10yr old nephew what do you think/

Before purchasing a mini for your nephew, definately check with his parents first. If both his parents say its "ok", then involve them within your selection process. I'm sure they want to compare "body fitting", control features and general maintenance costs against the other brands. Being a 125, does your nephew's parents have another quad or motocross to keep up with him? Or is this strictly for "around the track" type riding? To me, body fitting is most critical safety factor.
Not too sure of the price for your specific region. Is there a way you can compare this model to the same year in your region? Local papers, etc.
Hope this helps..

As far as fitting and getting parents approval is not a big problem. I am the one that takes him on camping trips and so on.
But anyway, thanks for the replies. I guess it is a little steep. I looked up on kelly blue book for the value in my area and I think it was like $890. What would you say is a pretty good deal?
Ps. Nice pics csamay.

Thanks!! I would offer him 5 and see where it goes from there. For a while those smaller bikes were going for a real premium cause no one was making them. Now there are so many good quads you can get brand new for under $2000 that the price of those older units should be down some. Then again, maybe I am wrong
