Default CRANK CASE

hummm, there is one spot specialy that need a welded mark to help
maintain the case together,,i should have a pic but in other words,it is right under the engine near the counter balance where the bolts are holdind up,mine was welded all around this area ever since and it make a strong package.i never saw a 400 2 stroke motor craked on the flywheel side,,,generally it break at around the clutch front end or
at the counter balance place, take a look, there is a design pattern down there that is easy to fix with a single welding.

Default CRANK CASE

If it has a whole from where a rock or something knocked a whole in it it you can get by with JB Weld or something. Try to ocver th whole wiht some piece of metal and JBweld it over. Welding it would be the best solution though. If you use JBweld or something like it, get the surface real clean. Then rough the are up so the epoxy can adhere better.
