better locktight, designed to handle high heat jus in case, a lock washer wouldn't hurt, and jus torque it down tighter. this always works for me in whatever i'm doing. also, clean out the threads on the bolt, and nut before you apply more locktight. if the metal rubs u can get a graphite-like powder and shavings, and it won't let the bold hold tight.

The locktight should do it. I was having trouble with the rear sprocket and brake rotor bolts coming loose. I put a dab of locktight on the exposed thread and it has held.

locktite. i dont remember if there is a lock washer or not but if there is it should be replaced. you shouldnt have to tighten extremely hard, you an break the bolt very easily....trust me.

btw i dont use locktite on this bolt because i fear it will break off and ill never get it back without drilling. ive never had a problem. when you're tightening the bolt, how do u keep the sproket still? with the compression of the motor?

You could have a worn out bolt, if the thread are worn this will cause it to loosen up.
