Default ds blowing a little smoke at high rpms...

I have been practicing my wheelies, and sometimes at the end of a wheelie I will really rev the engine to try and keep the frontend up. then whe I finally come down and let off the throttle I can see a little cloud of blue smoke out the exhaust.

could this be a problem, or just b/c I am reving it too high??

thanks.

if u dont have an after market ignition box,....then no i dont think u can rev it to high, the rev limiter will stop u before u can get to high to hurt the engine.

I know I'm not over-reving it, maybe it's b/c of the angle of the atv when I'm doin a wheelie?????

yeh like big show said you will hit the rev limiter but on the other hand you might need new rings or valve seals in the future

If it only does it when you let off it is more then likely valve guides. It is pulling oil through the guide and burning it. New seals might help for a little while, but it is going to need guides before long.

It depends on who you have do it, guides themselves arent that much, it will depend on how much they charge you for labor. It shouldnt be more then 150 at the most.
