Raptor sprocket bolt size?
#1
Anyone know what size the big drive sprocket and swingarm pivot bolts are?
thx
BTW, since i'm going through all the trouble of removing the swingarm to soak the chain in kerosene, how much are new chains?

The drive sprocket bolt is an 18mm thread and a 32mm socket to take it off. The swing arm pivot bolt is an 18 or 22mm I believe. Just buy a chain breaker to take the chain off. No need to remove the swing arm. Assuming this is the stocker chain that came with the quad new. Buy a chain breaker and a master link for that chain to put it back together. If it's that old though a new chain would be best. The new chain will come with a master link and you'll still need a chain breaker unless you get the exact length of chain needed. I don't recall the number of links. 92? 98 links seems like it's one of those.

There is not a removable master link on the original chain. You'll have to buy a chain breaker to remove the chain. The new chain will come with a master link however. You can get a motion pro chain breaker at your local dealer for $20 somthing.

The tool you need is here. Just scroll down the page to the mini chain breaker and mini chain press tool. You don't realy need the press tool just the chain breaker. An apprpriate pair of channel locks or other type pliers will press the piece together on the new master link that will come with the new chain you buy.
