lift kit.

Im thinking of making my own lift kit. I looked at my buddies and its basically 2 pieces of metal and 2 bolts for each shock. I was gonna trace his and cut them out of some think metal. Do you think this will work or am i wasting my time. I was hoping for 1.5" to 2" lift.

CatsRule; I don't see why it won't work. However IMHO use a hard enough metal and high strength bolts or you could have a problem. I put Moose's kit on mine as nobody had done it yet that I know around here. Works fine except that the bike is a little more tippy in high speed turns and watch the leaning on hill sides and trails. I almost rolled mine a week or so ago, having to learn some new skills.

it should work no problem catsrule but you also gotta ask yourself do you need to put a lift kit in it? cause if you are looking at just raising it up so you can go through more water or for ground clearance then you would probably be better off buying a 400 or something cause like bear said it will make it tipier and well it does take alot of getting used to but the lift kit does appear to be a simple design and for that kind of money hell fabricate them yourself
