I am wanting to get started in racing and have a couple of questions for all you racers!
Do you have to register in the AMA?If so do you do that at the races if your not a member before the race?How much does it cost?
Also there are different districts:Could someone please explain this to me.Does it matter which district your in if you can race at a certain race or what?Thanks in advance.I appreciate it!

 

Yes you do register with district 15 in the ama. It cost $10 plus the cost of the race. Yes you can register before the race and you must list every mod.

 

LOL.At the track I race at there are mainly dirtbikes.U could race a LT500R and none of the race track guys would know.I had to join the AMA it cost 35 dollars.I got a year member ship though.I didn't have to list any mods.They do however make U tell them the size of your quad.

 

well it just matters where you're gonna be racin. some tracks don't even use the ama and some do. see I race wth the TQRA. so just go to the track and ask if they are gonna be ama events or what. later
