My friend just got his 400ex head back from Dirtworx for porting and was installing it (keep in mind I was not there and do not know the specifics) but somehow managed to snap off one of the head studs inside the head! Something about tightening it to 17 foot pounds instead of 17 inch pounds. Anyway, I will find out the specifics tommorow, my question for now is where should he start? Drill out and re-tap? Any advice would be appreciated.

If it didnt bottom out in the hole, theres a good chance a hammer and punch, and a fine touch, can spin it out.
