hey i have a 04 z400 what the top speed of the predator i need more power and speed is the predator a lot faster the the z .

Well the predator goes around 74-76mph stock and the Z will go around 70-72mph.

The Predator has 42hp stock
The Z 30hp

The predator is much faster,and with equal mods the pred will still be faster...

well lets put it this way i dusted a kfx w/ my pred and he had his piped and jetted and K&N

 

74-76? I was killin a predator at Silver lake last weekend with my Scram400 4x4, maybe his was just slow, or he didn't know how to drive it. I had heard that they were fast and my buddies did too, I was not impressed, with that one anyway...

 

well a lot of it is the driver.. maybe he couldnt drive any good like you said cuz the pred shoule be faster unless there was something wrong with it

 

That is what I am thinking. He had paddles, I didn't!!! There had to be something wrong. I was wondering why he was even racing?

 

The Pred is faster and has much more potential to go a lot faster when modded the correct way.(notice i said the correct way because many dealers and mechanics out there dont understand the predator motor as it is american made and not japanese made and they just dont understand it) then the yfz the new honda the z the ds and the kfx. i know of a pred that will do around 100mph top speed and gives many banshees including vortex banshees a good run. many people have said it is the fast 4stroke they have seen and cant believe it. if u want ur pred goin faster just get a hold of nicholas cycle.

 

i had mine doing 75. something.

 

The Predator motor is Japanese. It's made by Fuji.

I'd wager a good bet that with $300 in mods, my machine is now putting 45hp to the wheels. The z400 is a great machine but for performance it's not in the same league.
