we were talkin bout cars the other day and he said hes getting a mazda3, and i laughed and told him its mazdas version of the civic and its prolly pulling 120-140 hp, he laughs and asks me what i have thats even worth mentioning and i was like dude my quad would kill you in a short race then he told me his caravan supposively topping out at 170k/m would spank me...then these other guys said i was an idiot cause i was racing a car....i find it hilarious how under rated quads and bikes are and how people dont realize there power

my raptor (stock) may not beat a mazda3 or caravan topped out but off the line to around 60mph i would spank them...what u guys think? am i wrong or right?

 

you are right. not that a tahoe is much to compare against but from 0-60 I can spank all over my tahoe w/ my quad

 

you will kill that van, i havent got a chance to race other quads but ive raced alot of cars and trucks and havent been beaten yet (with my brothers predator).

yes, some people are just plain ignorant. i raced a 98 camaro with my yfz this weekend and smoked his pants right off. it wasnt a far race, prolly 1/8-1/4 mile long, but he wasnt too happy, thats all i can say. very very underestimated.

 

ya, in a short distance...a car usually doesn't stand a chance........I would defenetly get some money on that and do a short distance race.........money in the bank!

 

thats so true that there under esmimated i mean come on the quad or dirtbike will get to higher rev's quicker but the car will kill in on top end or speed w/e u want to call it
