Default Billet End Cap..S/A mod?

I just ordered a Mod Quad end cap for the DS.. My question is, I read somewhere that theres a way to "rig" a spark arrestor with a moded end cap. Does anyone remember reading this and have any suggestions..
Thanks, Dingo

Mainly I have heard only stock endcaps modded with spark arrestors, with the aftermarket most are aluminum so its a little more difficult just to weld something up for them.

The only thing I've heard was to use a sink strainer or something similar, but you'll have to find the right size and mount it in there. Or you could buy some metal screen and fab it yourself.

I am going to make a billet endcap with a hmf spark arester sandwiched between to peices. similar to how hmf sandwichs theres between the endcap and quit core. I wonder if there is a way to adapt one of those to yours? hmf will send you one of there aresters for next to nothing.
