not the usual end cap post

i just bid on the mod squad end cap on ebay can you polish off the black and make is polished not black didnt know if anyone has tried this yet?

It is anodized black. You can spray it with easy-off oven cleaner and that will strip the anodizing off. Then polish it up with a buffing wheel.
