Default Predator backfiring out the exhaust

My 500 Predator backfires out the exhaust at high rpm with the spark arrestor removed from the stock pipe. I installed a DG slip on exhaust and it does the same thing. I have a KN filter. Changed jetting with no change in backfiring. Any help here?

thanks

I would say your hitting the rev limiter. My brothers Pred did this a lot. Once he put his Procom rev limiter in, hasn't done it since. It does it even more with a pipe on because it rev's even faster. Put in a Procom for $100 on ebay, and I'm sure it will go away. Many people get confused thinking it's jetting when it's not. The Pred rev's very fast and hits the 9000rpm quickly.

Possibly might be incorrect jetting for your elevation.
