Default NGK Spark or can I use something else?

I have an Xplorer400 and need new plugs. Do I have to use NGK BR8ES or can I cross reference this and use another brand?

Thanks!!

I only use what the owners manual wanted in there. If there was a champion or a/c plug, that would be correct, i would think polaris would list it.
Heres a good article on spark plugs, it may help you decide.

The NGK's seem to work the best in the Polaris motors. Stick with them. FYI- Advanced Auto carries the NGK plugs for cheap. I paid $1.68 for my V-Power plug, while the dealer wanted almost $4 for it

Just don't wast your money on a splitfire. The only difference you'll see is your wallet will be slightly lighter.
