I have noticed that you know pretty much about the 200sx's. Does yours have any performance mods? I really appreciate the tips you have given me....... Keep em' coming.

No, no mods but i'd like to make the throttle tighter so it will go a bit faster. and a K&N filter would be nice.

I just replyed to your other topic in the Mechanical section I think it was.

look round what people do to there 300ex/250x.....similar concepts

remember you can throw any amount of money at it....make it go faster etc....but its still a 200 and it will still only have 3.1inch of suspension travel....don't spend to much on go fast bits.....just maximise what you have got

hot performance tiP?....put the 200sx in the shed (keep it as a fun bike, or for friends to ride)......and buy a 300ex.....

regear the front sprocket. when trailriding with 200 lb riders it tends to bog down when climbing. Theres only one pipe available but keeping it tuned and valves adjusted helps a lot.we went on a 100 mile atv trail ride and they was impressed where that bike could take them. We did waste a stock tire with a 1" stick to it.
