I was mowing with a tow behind and I got the HOT message on the display. The mower had gotten stuck and I had goosed the throttle without luck. After getting unstuck, the message came on. A friend said that some quads have a heat sensor for the belt. Does this model have such a sensor? I wasn't pushing the engine very hard, but the belt probably got hot because it was slipping when I was stuck. There isn't much information in the users manual on the subject. The message went off after a bit and didn't return. I just purchased this quad and trying to learn how to use it. I have 4 motorcycles, but this is the first belt driven quad.
