??? RAPTOR cam top gasket ???

there is no o-ring, at the factory they use a compound called yamabond. I use the red rtv(high temp) it works like a champ, just let it sit for about an hour before you put the cover back on or it will smear. try not to go more than about a 1/16 inch bead.

the head and cam cover are a matched set no not mix them.
the cam cover is a precision fit also, so no gasket is required.
use only yambond #4 or three bond1211 for this. using other gaskets sealents and letting then cure befroe use will create a larger gap than was setup from the factory and will create a loss in oil pressure, sloppy cam bearings where the cam will wobble alittle in the head.

if you stay thin on the high temp red it will seal very well, it wont completly cure for about 24 hours, the one hour is only so it will get tacky, not cure hard. and when you bolt it down most of it will squeeze out and only seal the imperfections, thats why you want to use less than 1/16 inch
