Appearance wise, exactly the same other than a graphic change to the decals. Same plastic design. There, ofcourse, will be the all black option available along with the standard red offered on the 2004 model.

Engine wise, EVERYTHING remains the same. This goes for the entire intake tract as well.

On the chassis, there is a new frame, subframe, and front engine mounts. As for the frame and subframe, I couldn't find where anything else is changed to call it a "new" design. It is the same color and the all other chassis componets are the same as well, so I am not sure where the update lies with only a change to the mainframe and front engine mounts. Maybe we will learn this at a later time.

The last change is the deletion of a small clip that holds the rear foot brake switch wire on the 2005 model.

Are the frame adjustments simply for a little strengthening?

Didn't Farr want a different position for his race bike engine, but couldn't do it because it would not be "stock" anymore??? Maybe the new motor mount was done for him??? I think he wanted it a little futher forward, for a more front heavy weight bias??????

Yah, i ve also heard they wanted to change the position of the engine. I never heard that they were gonna redesign the frame for it, i thought they were just gonna change the mounts.

Thanks for the info knowsalot.
