What is everyone using? Do the CDIs only increase the rpms and spark output or do they advance timing and all kinds of stuff? I want to get one but I don't want to spend bookoos of money if I don't have to. Also, anyone know what the stock rpm limit of the 450's are? Thanks.

 

ummm i know it allows u to get in a higher rpm in each gear so u can go faster but i dont thin kit doesnt nethign else

Yah, i know it would be worth it but i'm trying to decide which one. They have some for $200 and they go up to like $360 for the vortex one. There has to be some reason they are so much. Surely adjustability isn't the only other feature of the expensive ones, though I may be wrong. If I can get away with spending $200 on one I will,as I only need one state of tune where I ride. Still wonder what the stock rpm limit is.
