Default Warrior missing above idle???

I have a 97 warrior..It idles fine, but above idle it breaks up. When I put a timing light on it to check if its in time and revved it,it seemed to not fire like it should..Looks like its missing real bad above idle..Now would that be the ECM or maybe the pickup on the flywheel???Just hate to buy a module if that not the problem ..It was running fine, then shut off..Restarted it and then the problem started..Any thoughts would be a great...Thanks for the input..

Default Warrior missing above idle???

Im thinking a carb related issue over a spark related problem. Seeing how it idles fine, and will start ok....but when the throttle is opened...it breaks up. Im thinking the carb sucked up some crud in the main jet, ot the needle jet came loose, but the only way to know for sure is to take the float bowl off, and look for deposits in the bottom of the bowl. If you see some grit or crud, id clean the carb, and see what happens from there.

I`ll check the carb ,but I don`t think thats it...When the timing light is on and you rev it. the light starts flashing intermittanly...Like its lost its signal to flash..Still thinking ignition problem somewhere ...I only pray its the carb...lol Thanks for the input....
