Default i got a question

ok im signin up in the ATV drags with my yfz and a guy ik that races in them with a 400ex (piped) claims he has beatin a few yfz's, now is this guy lieing his *** off or not? now i have raced a 400ex and spanked his no problem. So what ya think?

any quad can beat any quad. Depends more on the rider than the quad.

The only way he was beating a YFZ is if it was parked and shut off.
That's probably how he won too.

to an extent... aslong as you know how to shift and hit the gas a 450 should easily beat a 400ex... rider skill is a big part... but eventually motor and power takes over...

yea im not hatin on honda they good machines but i think that guy is full of it

I agree. Even a piped 400EX has way less HP than a stock YFZ, plus the 400 is what....20-25 lbs heavier?

so how well do u ppl think ill do in the 1st time drags on my yfz? im worried about the holeshot i have been practicing but some days i can get it to spin but others it just comes right up

You'll probably do better than you expect for your first time....thats the way it usually goes.

What kind of terrain are you going to be on exactly?

How far are the drags? 300ft?

Have you timed yourself at all?
