Anyone ever had to start their 700 with a rope?

Default Anyone ever had to start their 700 with a rope?

I've never had to start my sleds with a rope on the clutch. How difficult is it to turn the 700 over with a rope? I would think it would be more difficult on a 4 stroke over a 2 stroke to turn over in the event of electic starter failure.

Well it prolly would be, but lucky you they didn't put one on the 600, 700, and 700 EFI ATVs......

Well it prolly would be, but lucky you they didn't put one on the 600, 700, and 700 EFI ATVs.
He means the emergency rope start. Where you wrap a piece of rope around the primary clutch and pull. They give you the rope in the tool kit on sleds in case the recoil breaks. However, on a sled it's easy to get to the clutch. Would be a bitch on a quad.
