it might be a coil that is on the stator. i had that happen to mine and the coil is only $20 and i had someone put it in for me and that cost an extra $100.

Yeah change the plug first, I had a LQ 250R that ran great, then just would'nt start the next time I rode, No sparks, Yanked the plastic off to check wiring, changed CDI's coil, even the harness, turned out to be the simple plug, did'nt even consider it because it was only in the bike a couple weeks, and it did'nt look fouled, dropped in a new plug and rantingting ting! doh!!!!

Thanx for replies, I thought maybe it was the plug, but i tried a plug from my snowmobile and still no spark. The trike died when i was riding it, so that kind of baffles me....i will check all wiring and buy a new plug...If it is coil, how would i change this, where is that located??

The coil is under the tank, follow your sparkplug wire back up to it. It has to be something simple. checkall your conections
