Need Mod Advice
#1
I raced my '00 Honda Recon in the Utility class at a local fair this past Saturday. The track was designed for supercross cycles. It was tough.
I am curious if any of you have done any mods on a similar type quad or have any other advice about what kind of mods might make me more competitive.
My Recon is bone stock 230cc(250). I was racing against Grizzlys, Artic Cat 500, Wolverines w/racks, Polaris's, and a few Foremans. The quad closet in size to mine was a Foreman 300. I qualified for the main and then finished 8th. It was a blast! But I hurt like crazy today(Sunday).
Any help would be appreciated.

Best mods u can do to a utility:
First put a Supertrapp IDS2 Pipe with a K&N air filter and a jet kit.
Then if you can afford, put sporty razrs/bandits all around as tires on douglass .190 wheels.
Throttle adjustment is also helpful (ask supertraprecon as HE WILL COME HERE I BET)->thats free.
Now all this can cost 700 bucks
but Im betting you'll win your next race !
