OLD QUADS
#1
HOW many of u have old quads that are discontinued? I think i t would be a good idea to have a place on this website for old quads. or ppl to share info on the older quads since u cna not find much now. People would not have to ask the smae quesions about the 250x and 300ex for example all the time. HOw would we notify the webmaster?

are you farmilia with the search function of this forum,
you can save a lot of questions by digging through those
.....plus old quads often don't die......you must know how old the 250r is
250x is
honda 300?.....how long do you think they built the utility for?
warrior, blaster, big bear?.....old maybe, technology never changed majorly in there production life.....sure maybe cosmetic or slightly different frame design and suspension rebound and preload settings, but that is minor
what is your definition of old?

Well i would not say old. but all the quads that fill the criteria are probaly before 1992.I think i it would of been better if i would of said a area to help people out that need information about quad that dont not have readily availble information. Great guys like you who are so patient when someone mis states something and dont even get mad could help us out

Out here in the sticks, the most popular dinosaurs are the old Honda 250 utilities. Most upgraded to honda 300's in the mid 90's, but there are still quite a few 250's around. A very solid bike and far and away the most popular utility of its time (with the Bayou 300 coming in second).
The old quads that we used to ride with included: 1984 Bayou 185, several Honda 250's, 1985 Yamaha 200, 1986 and 87 Yamaha 225, 1987 Kawasaki Bayou 300, 1989 Suzuki 300, 1986 Suzuki 230 and 250 quadrunners, 1987 Honda Foreman 350, 1984 Honda TRX 200. All Utilities. I only knew two people with sport quads back then and they were an 87 Warrior 350 and an 86 Suzuki Quadracer 250.
I would someday like to get my hands on an old Tecate-4 in decent shape. They made better quads, but I really liked that one.
