hey me and my dad fixed up our old 1987 polaris cyclone and when we tried to start it i wouldnt every thing we think is in working condition we are gonna try a hotter spark plug do any of yall have any other ideas? any help would be great thx

 

i have had a 87 cyclone for about 5-6 years now, and i always had trouble with spark. sometimes i had it and sometimes i did not. right now i seem to have it maybe check your spark plug wire. i have not done much to mine due to lack of knowledge, but very intersted in finding out more about them. what i have read here has been very helpful. after reading some of these messages i have decided that maybe i should keep it. don't have much in it and sounds like it could be a collectable someday. needs overhauled, loses power after it warms up, but all plastic is in good shape and still runs fair. i will post some pictures when i get a chance.

 

i dont know what is wrong but i have to say that cyclone is looking sweet
