Default Replacing Rear Axle?


Could anyone tell me how hard it is to replace a rear axle?

I'm interested in buying a Durablue Heavy Duty alxe or a Eliminater 2+2 axle
but could anyone tell me how hard it is to replace the rear axle????

PLZ HELP!!!!

not hard at all assuming you have the right tools

and you may as well replace the bearings and seals too

Not knocking DURABLUE but, if your looking at their axle from a warranty standpoint then be sure to read their replacement policy first.

replacing an axle is not very hard at all... it could take some coaxing to get it out and back into the carrier, but otherwise it is very simple. just remember about the circlip under the locknut!

just remember how it came apart easier to take of the sprocket stuff and go out the right side
