What's the difference between the warrior and the new 350 raptor? I know they have different fenders, but its everything else the same? I know its the same motor but has yamaha made any changes to the motor or any updates to it, and if so what are they? Also if anyone out there has one, do they ride and jump well (raptor 350)? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

Don't even consider getting a Warrior, even if it is a great deal! As I recall, the Raptor 350 has a different rear suspension linkage, shocks, and ergonomics. Oh yeah, they replaced the dreadful airbox but not the dreadful chain adjuster.

 

Yamaha just tried to improve the Warriors handling and update it's looks.

 

If you've got the cash the Raptor 350 is a better bike. It's quicker because of different exhaust and the ergos are improved significantly. Plus it has the best thing the Warrior had to offer, the POWERPLANT!

The Warrior was always known for a good engine and the Raptor will still have that old 350 for a while anyway.

The Warrior is a great woods cruiser, but to get it to handle good enough for racing or high speed dashing, you need new suspension all around, fatter foot-pegs, new bars, axle extenders all around, and tire all around.

That being said, I love my 01 Warrior!

 

Dude Give it up. All u say is warriors suck. I know people that hate them and love them. Its person prefference. Me i hated my warrior. Thats why i have a 400ex now and loving it. But i know people that would rather have warriors than 400ex. So its all up to likeings. And NCguy84 just ride both and see what u like.

 

Do you understand that they are basically the same machine? He is saying that if you have the money then get the upgraded warrior. Also known as the raptor 350.

 

ok well the warrior isn't all that bad, but i personally would never buy one. the raptor 350 on the other hand is a nice bike, it's lighter then the warrior handles better then the worrior and plus the 350 raptor looks like a raptor, and come on, you can't beat that unless it looked like a YFZ. but go with the raptor it's lighter probably quicker and handles much better from what i here

 

I know. Im not talkin about Raptor 350. Im talkin bout the warrior. All he does is say warriors suck. Every posts about choosing a warrior over somthin else. personally i hate the warriors. but people like them. So jus ride it and see what u like. Id take the raptor 350....But i would save up money and get a 400ex. Much better!
