700 sportsman low end power
#1
I have a 02 700 with an aaen clutch kit aaen pipe dynojet kit set up at a shop. When I first got it back it would wheelie in high range Iwent for a 20 mile ride drove it pretty hard. Now it seems to fall on its face again. still runs 100times better than it did before even when cold. Im trying to tell if it is belt slip. I have not looked but maybe I glazed the belt . what do you think

AS for the aaen pipe it sounds great a little power gain. All set up the 700 is fast real fast speedo goes to 60 I can put the needle in the middle at the bottom. At 5 mph hit it very strong but from a dead stop its a slug once more. Im giong to jackman for the week going to drive it like it should be to see if I can get some more belt grip. have to remember 750 lbs its not a pure sport quad

I've had my speedo buried a few times, mine seems (to me) to jump off the start good but pull drops off big time after 40mph. Could have something to do with clutching as the 700 revs higher before engagement (than the 600). I would rather have low end pick up as you often don't get a chance to open her up to top speed. Mine is stock, but I'm going to get a clutch kit and exhaust but want to get it all from the same company so that it works together as intended. I don't want it too loud though, I need to get into the state parks (Silver Lk. etc..).
