Hey,I do alot of atv work,like buying atvs that people domnt want or are smashed for projects and make them awesome looking good running machines.Alot of the time when i do these atvs there older and i dont know to call them utiltiy or sport atvs:Sanyway i give them a motorcycle type paint job so they look really kool.ive been watching all kinds of motorcycle shows and looking all over the net for more ideas i came up with a kool one for the next proj that i do that i decide to keep[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]but i have about 5 more atvcs ready to be painted and sold.Now i can only think of basic jobs like flame,tear,etc ideas.things that are easy.but i want some AWESOME lookin jobs on these so i need to do somthin a little more than just flames[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]Anybody have any paint ideas or sites that have pics of motorcycle tanks with awesome paint jobs???thnx for the help[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

ill post pics on the rest of my projects from now on.i would post some now but I sold all my proj atvs.The next one ive got should look awesome.Im thinkin of puttin up a site bout paintin atvs and stuff[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]I should be gettin some atvs,atcs,and dirtbikes sometime soon.Ill post pics as i go along wioth them[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

i jus painted my blaster. i didn't do anything radical.

i painted the frame red as well as the bars and the bumper.

i painted the fenders, grab bar, ect. ect. everything else black.

it turned out really good.

do u podercoat ur bikes, or how do u paint em ?

I used to do most if not all of my atv work at my freinds which had EVERYTHING.His whole family was nto racing atvs so they had tonws of stuff for customizing and they painted theres also so they had all the spray guns and stuff,Best you can buy.He moved about a month ago so i can use the great equipment anymore and i dont have that great of stuff just stuff that most ppl can buy fairly easy.i use a simple spray gun bought from ummmmm some store around here and i mix the paints myself so i get the color i want.Once ya get the tank sanded all i have to worry about is painting a coat letting it dry painting another coat letting it dry etc etc etc. I came up woth the idea of using chains a min ago.i was thinking of having it look like the tank was wrapped in chains and just have a few chains going diffrent dirrections on the fenders.Think this idea would look good and what color would the base be?

hmmmm,i was thinkin bout the color scheme a little bit mroe.i am debating about either chains on striaght black or chains on black with some type of red designs with the black.if i do use designs they will most likely be celtic or maybe tribal[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

look around there, kamileon kolors would be awesome, or the full spectrum color (don't know name) or you could do glow in the dark clear (not sure who its made by)
