Has, anyone riden there DS at the Hatfield McCoy WV.

 

Yes, I rode my DS at hatfield McCoy and loved it.I had a great time Stayed away from the real rocky trails though .Loved getting out on the road and riding to other towns.We stayed in Logan County and rode into Gilbert.

 

We usually ride the Wagon Wheel trail system, which was connected w/ the HM system the main difference is Wagon Wheel still has no rules yet. If you want to night ride, double or whatever and still there is no cost to ride.

I just got back last week from hatfield and McCoy. We stayed in Logan at the super 8. I rode my Baja X. I had a little trouble with the altitude change at first so I changed my needle setting. I wouldn't attempt the trails with the stock Ohtsu tires though. They would get shredded and wouldn't have enough traction for some of the sections. Also, beware of branches sticking out on the little coal river trail, I busted my nose on one and just had surgery on Friday to fix it. Besides that, we had a blast and the X performed GREAT.

 

What was the elevation up there? And I put holeshot xct 22" that came off my 01 DS, they have really held up good. They can take the rocks well.
