Default Trike stoppies!!!!!!!!

I am getting pretty good at stopies on my quad. Right now I just do em where when I am at the highest point I am completly stoped. I have only let it go all the way over once so far but luckily I had an extra clutch perch and lever. I have played around on my 85 250R a little just by hitting the back brakes and sliding the trike sidways while leaning to one side to lift one side of the rear in the air. I call that a my version of a stoppie on a trike. I am going to try doing the real thing here pretty soon and was wondering if anyone else had tried it. My left side fork seal started leaking onto my front brake pads about a month ago and has pretty much glazed the pads over and it doesn't stop well enough to attempt it right now. When I get my fork seal in and some new pads on I am going to let it rip. If it turns out well I am going to send a pic into a mag. I see pics of quads doing stoppies but never a trike.

no, i have to agree with this one, not a good idea. jsut headdin for disaster. but, i suppsoe it would look cool. i would think that the front wheel would be likely to jsut slide though..

wear a helmet if you try it, I'm afraid you will need more than just a clutch perch and lever when you're done though

nothing cooler than locking up the rear mud tires sideways on pavement trying to get slowed down coming down main street, sounds like somebody doing a burn out with a big truck

You better buy a case of fork seals.

I tried for months and months. There is not enough braking or friction to stop the front end I have found. Its kinda simple on quads, but they have 2 sets of brakes to stop them.

You guys are gonna laugh at me but its the truth. When my Big Red 250 new and the brake pads wernt all worn out i could do stroppies. The tire in the front is so massive and has so much contact with the ground it hooked up enough to do about a 2, 2.5 foot high stoppie.

that might be true. I've tried it on an 85 250R, 86 Tri Z, and a 225DX. The 225 has a kind of big tire, but its nothing like a big red front tire is.
