what are good rear tires?
#1
I have limited experience with tires on quads... Im looking to replace the ohtsus with a 22 inch SOMTHING. I dont want anything really agressive, but i dont want anything like a turf tamer either.
I was looking at the new razr II's. Does anyone have them? i know they are supposed to be nearly bulletproof, but how heavy are they? what do the stockers weigh? (dont want to get a really heavy tire)
i noticed on rocky mountains page, they have 22x11x9 razr II's on .190s for somthing like 240.
Then below that they have a 22x11x9 on .190 listed that says (SIX PLY) listed for 220
what makes the 6 plys cheaper? (i would have figured the others are a thinner ply, thus being cheaper....)
i want somthing that is durable, has good traction in all conditions (sandy gravel/dirt/grass/and a bit of mud)
anything better than a razr II?

Razr's don't work very good in sand. Pure Sport Bandits are a good general purpose tire that is bulletproof and work better in sandy, gravel, and rocky terrain. I haven't had them in mud, so cannot say how they work there.

how are the wear/traction characteristics on the xct's?
Also bandit rears? i have run a warrior a long time ago with rear bandits but it seemed like i couldnt climb much because it spun so much in even grass. Is pure sport still around? (i have a set of the realtors, but havnt been able to find a place that sells them, as rocky mtn no longer does)
