400 scambler top speed

want to know average top speed of a 400 scrambler.....thanx

I've had mine up to 65mph, with a few mods.

Stock, mine went arount 60 MPH. Now I have added a pipe, silencer, clutch kit and filter charger and it's a lot faster, although I'm not sure exactly how much faster.

I ride at about 900 to 1500 feet in elevation and 70-85 degrees.

I just ran it last weekend on straight level pavement. Got to 60-62mph, this was with a bicycle speedo, at 30mph it reads 28-29mph so its close but not perfect.

On a radar gun it was posted at 56 mph Honostly look at page 53 in atv sport april 2000 issue. I also asked polaris about it the r&d dept and they said right around there is right stock that is.

Mine clocked 70.4 MPH with a 12 Channel GPS on a paved road. I checked the GPS against the speedo in my truck, both were within .5 MPH of each other. And that's during break in...
