horibble throttle response

Default horibble throttle response

my friends quad witch is an automatic wont go when you hit the gas it just sits there for about 4 seconds and then takes of really slowly well it doesnt help that it is a polaris but i know that it shouldnt do this, what could cause this and how much would it cost to fix. it is a scrammbler 90

its probobly the belt or the centrfical clutch.I know that would be the case if it where there larger models but that is a mini.There small quads are made by japanese or taiwonese company and I am not sure about there set up.I would check to see if it is belt drive or shaft drive.
