is a z/kfx 400 faster than a raptor? and which ones are more comfortable on the track and the trail.?

raptor with a $10 front sprocket change can go really, really fast (85mph stock)

but those 450's accelerate faster over short distances

85 stock eh? Even with a bigger front tooth you couldnt pull that off without more RPMs than a stock raptor has. As for the z/kfx and the raptor, well the raptor is faster, but the most comfortable is the z or kfx.

 

yeah with a plus one tooth in the front u could go 85 easily lol stock trim they go 75ish.. depending on elevation and what not.

 

I ride with rappies all the time, and a couple yfz. Topped out, nothing stock will touch the rappy. The yfz is fast, faster than a z, but not as fast as the rappy. And with gear swaps,and higher rev limiter a rappy could easily break 100mph. The z is more at home on a track than a stock rappy, though. Unless you change a-arms, axle and suspension on the rappy.

 

the ds will take any thing top speed besides maby a zilla and the ds650 will take a rappy from 2nd to 5th

the only quad EVER i saw to run very high speed run (in the upper 90 mph) only with a gearing change is the DS 650,fastest high speed run you can go only with a sprocket changes,cauze the ds feel at home at high spedd cauze of the wider,smoother frame cuts.
