Default Oil Tank Weight

Has anyone tried fabricating there own oil tank out of alumunum? Maybe they are alumunum....If I or someone had a magnet handy handy maybe they could tell me since I am at work.
I was just thinking if they were steel maybe a few pounds?? could be saved there. Does anyone know how much they weight and how much oil they hold? I know there is not a whole lot of pressure there, maybe there is.

I wonder why Bombardier did not address this when they redesigned the '04 DS650? It seems like pretty much everything on the '04 and later DS650s is smaller, lighter, or different than prior DS650s, but not the oil tank, at least not that I can tell by looking at it. Maybe there wasn't anything appreciable to be gained there.
