im totally lost, i took off the black covers to the top of the carb, and see the big springs, from there what do i do? im really lost

 

Pull the springs out and set them aside. Pull the vacuum slide assemblies out. (The rubber diaphram, slide and needle are all together.) I use needlenose pliers to pull the needle retainer out of the center of the slide but you can set it upside down on a bench and push down on the needle to get it out. There will be a small spring inside so be careful not to drop anything. Be sure to keep your washers and spacer in order. You have to take the e clip off the needle and move it to the 3rd groove on both carbs. When you put the needle and retainer back in the slide you will feel the o-ring seat into its groove. Good Luck.
