Default White Bros pipe broke

Thought I was finally going to get the fine tuning done on the Boss last weekend. Put on the new sprockets and chain, rejetted the carb. Noticed I had an exhaust leak, figured it was where the slip on pipe met the stock exhuast pipe. Got to checking and the flange that goes from the muffler itself to the pipe had completely broken its factory weld. Anyone else had this happen? Talked to Rick Ritter and he said to send it to him and he could weld it back. Figure it would be easier on both of us just to weld it myself. Need to convince the wife I really need a welder.

It happened to my brother. His white bros. pipe for his raptor broke clean at the same spot. He had it professionally welded up. Put it back on and the pipe broke at the aluminum bracket thats holds it to the frame on the next ride. I know everyone here likes them but, i think thay are junk.

THat exact same thing happened to me about a month and a half ago. I sent it to rick and a month later I got it back re welded. If I new it was going to take that long I would have done it my self.
