which will provide more air, removing the snorkel.....or just modifying it?

are there any risks when you remove the snorkel?

I would assume that without a snorkel you will have more air flow but the down side is that you will get dirt a crap on your air filter it also depends where you are riding but either way if you are going to make a mod to the snorkel or airbox buy an outwear for your filter.
