Default cheap grizz muffler mod.

Howdy gang,
I just thought I would pass along a cheap muffler mod for the Grizz. I did this on a Rhino and it works well and sounds a lot better than stock with that little snout on the end of the muffler. I bought a Power Tip off E-Ban for $39.50. It is a billit piece that replaces that little snout. I also removed my spark arrestor at the same time. It sounds much better and runs better. I did go up to a 165 main jet. I dont know what the main jet of a Grizz is. Just thought I would pass this along to you Grizz riders. Have a goodun!!!!

If you rejet and remove the baffle, yes, you will gain in power.

Howdy,
It adds power and sounds so much better than that little snout. I did change my main jet to a 165. I dont know what a Grizz is jetted at. I also raised my needle to the highest setting. Removing that spark arrestor helps a lot. Have a goodun !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought one of those tips for my 04 grizz and it made it run pretty crappy. I left the spark arrestor in and kept the same main jet. It started to run a lot hotter with the tip, and when I would shut it off after riding for a bit it would vapor lock and sputter for about a minite after I started to ride again. I ended up taking it off and it runs fine again. Maybe I need to jet up a bit with the tip or some thing. Has anyone else tried one of these tips on a grizz.
