Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

Your best options are first Rick Ritter's stage one kit or HPDs pipe and clutch kit. When you pipe one of these you need to reclutch it to match the pipe.

Welcome to the forums! Your never too old to start the great sport of ATVing. I would agree that Ritter Cycle's pipe kit is the best for the buck. You get a pipe, clutch spring, jet, and a filter I believe all for only $325. www.rittercycle.com

yup i got it and i love it. i now have porting, milled head, and a wiseco in my motor and carious other mods. i love my quad. it runs strong and hard. it dosnt take off like it used to though, its not the motor i know that so i was thinking belt. what do u think bubba. its not frayed or anything but its to years old and when i was young and stupid i did things like try to spin them on pavement and it just reved without turnig the tires. so could it be glazed over and slipping?

Go with the RCR kit i got one and it is very good. The silencer is very loud though. i switched to the HPD mt silencer its their loudest one but it is quieter than the silencer supplied with the RCR kit. But my quad is not working right now i think my piston rings are stuck but im not sure. I was riding without the airbox lid and i think i was running to lean and now my engine makes this weird nosie when i try to start it with the electric start and has a little but deffinatley not as much resistance on the pull start. Is this the problem cause i hope i dont need a whole new top end.
