Default Sportsman Ground Clearance

My friend got a 2004.5 Sportsman 500. I've always thought that they were the best looking quad on the market.

We measured ground clearance. Mine has 10 3/4", the Sportsman has 14 1/2" with stock tires.

That's huge!!

Also, they say the steering on my Outlander is easy. The steering on the Sportsman is much easier and very nice.

Also, the magazines say that the Outlander will tie a Sportsman 500. Not Mine.

I am really getting to like the 4 wheel drive system on the Polaris because he doesn't have to stop like I do to put it in and out of 4x4.
I have to stop. I don't like to just keep it in 4x4 because the steering is not as easy.

yeah the 500s are really nice machines. ive had a little bit of clutch problems but got them fixed free of charge from my dealer. other then that keeps going and goin.

so your outlander 400HO wont beat a 500HO? wow thats something new, im sure that yours will beat it in the topp end tho because my 500 will only get going around 58 mph and my buddys 400 will do almost 65
