I have a 00 scrambler 500 with a clutch kit. ever since i put it in its never been right. ive been riding it for a year now with the kit and its given me problems all the time. Just the other day i took apart the secondary clutch and noticed that the plastic buttens were all chewed up and gone. Is my quad not made to have a clutch kit or what? im putting the stock clutch back in this weekend.

 

The stock buttons are not made that well to begin with,replace those with the HPD buttons and your problems will be solved.Really the only difference in the clutch kit that you installed is that the helix has a different angle than stock,and the spring has a different tension.

 

who is the clutch kit maker? that happened to me when i put in a HSP kit, the endcap of the muffler also partially blew off.

 

its an EPI clutch kit, and i havent had any problems with the muffler, lol
