Anyone else watching?? That is an awesome group assembled 14 players with over 500homeruns.

 

Personally I think its as boring as the nba slam dunk contest. But to each thier own. Sammy and some of the other guys are amazing at the plate, but when the ball is being lofted in it gets a lot less spectacular. Its a much bigger deal to me when a player hits a homerun in a game when his team needs the runs.

 

Your right about it being more spectacular in a game. But watching these guys and others hitting the ball 450ft. is still something awesome in itself.

lol, wow... the home run derby aint like it use to be i will say that... everyone who was it it were POWER hitters... and i mean power.... nowa days you got guys like him...
