Default What trails to ride, Big Bear to Arrowhead?

I want to ride from Big Bear, through Green Valley Lake, to Arrowhead!
What trails can I take and not get a ticket from Mr. Ranger?
Any good maps out there with trails that are clearly marked in this area?

California, 04 outlander 400 two seater.

There is a place behind lake arrowhead called the pinnacles. You can ride from there to lake silverwood but it may be closed due to the fires last year. I haven't been up there since, maybe someone knows if it's open. There are trails at Crab Flats campground that you can ride over towards Big Bear, once again I don't know if thats open anymore or not cause of the fires. These are the only mountain trails I know of in the mountains around here that is open to ATV/motorcycle riders at least they used to be. If your not on those designated trails, they are marked, Ranger Joe will give you a ticket. You also have to be green stickered and have a USFS approved spark arrestor.

Lake Silverwood is closed and so all are the trails around it. Me and Josh found this out the hard way. Not sure when, or if they will reopen.

The only place I know for sure that is still open is the trails in the cajon pass. Take the silverwood exit going north, at the end of the off ramp instead of turning right towards Silverwood, shoot strait across the road to a dirt road entrance, follow that for a couple miles until you pass the second set of railroad tracks. There is a stageing area there, toilets to. You can ride from there all the way to hwy 138? whatever the hwy is that goes to Palmdale. Its the same one as the silverwood exit. It's an ok ride, you can choose the dirt road or take the trails up over the mountain tops and ride the ridge all the way to the highway. It's I believe 11 miles one way.

Wshrdskin would be correct. That is the only trail left open up there. It is 6 miles long.

The trails around Silverwood should be open, at least they were on Fathers Day when I rode there. The dirt road from Crab Flats to the Pinnacles is closed and I've heard that its not very fun to ride on, to many boulders in the way. For a map you can stop at the ranger stations they give them out .
