Default 700 faster than Scrambler 500?

I have an 04 scrambler for about 2 months and my cousin bought a '04 700 and had it for about a week. I got him off the smart but he caught up to me and slowly passed me at about 1/4 mile. should this be happening?

Yes it should. The 700 has tons of power. The 600 will even beat a 500 scrammy. I ride with a group that has 3 700's, 2 600's, 1 scrammy 500ho, both my 250 and 330, a grizzly and honda recon. We all ride at least 2 times a month. The 700's are by far the fastest followes closely by the 600's.

my buddy has an 03 SP700. he might have a higher top end(havent really raced for top end), but it will take him a helluva lot longer for him to get there. how many times you really gonna race a SP 700 for top end any way?

the real fact is, sportsmans in general just cant keep up with a scrambler when racing through the woods or jumping. thats whats so cool about entering in small competitions. you have the option of entering into the utility class because of the 4x4 (in which case youll kick ***), or the sport class(youll be competitive if you're a good rider)

scrambler 500 4x4 is the most all around baddass machine out there.

just my 2 cents,

X

Stock machines my 700 was faster than the Scrambler400 2x4 especially in 4x4. Now with the mods in high traction the 400 is faster.
