Default Badlands tire problem?

Can anyone tell me if a rippling (wavey) effect on the inner flat of the tire (opposite tread) is cause for concern or for poor ride quality. Is this normal? Does anyone have them off the rims to check.
I want to mount them on lighter Aluminum wheels for sport riding, but want to cut my losses if the're bad.

The ripple is normal as i found out later.

Jim

that sounds like possibly the cords were broken from over inflation, seating the beads... I have a pair, I bought new, & they showed no signs of what you are describing, before mounting...

Thanks for the help, it says not to inflate over 36 psi (to seat bead).

Think they will be covered under a manufactures warranty? Don't actually know why or what caused this condition, may have been from the factory at mounting.

Carlisle has a 2 year warranty on the Badlands, contact them for replacement if they fail you, the rep was a good guy and they are looking to do some R&D from the field on the new radials. I am happy with their customer service!
