doing the boot on the rear of my 02 700.
Need to replace the snap ring that holds the shaft to the cv.
The parts manual only shows the cv assembled.
Anyone have this part #?

Don't know if this is the same part, #7670092. Page B2 on the online manual from Polaris. It's part #2 described as circlip.

Thats not it. It's the one that holds the cv to the shaft..
Can't seem to find a pic or pn.

 

You may want to give Partsland or Ronnies a call and see if they might be able to help. If your luck is anything like mine, once you find the part, you'll find 10 other places you could have bought it. You might want to try this forum too ATV Nation.

 

If you are talking about the small ring that you spread apart to get the Outboard CV off the shaft, then Polaris don't sell it - best bet is to find a CV rebuilding shop and see if they have any old ones laying around
