i dont watch the "sharon osbourne show" but i was flipping through the channels and she was talking about ATVs so i watched it-she said they were very dangerous and told parents to not buy their kids one under any circumstance-she didn't even give a reason why they were dangerous

although some kids probably shouldn't be on ATVs, she shouldnt be telling parents what to do-i had only rode an ATV a few times before i got one a few months ago and i have never been near injury(nor any of my friends that i ride with)

if anyone wants to write her.....

She's probably going off because of Ozzy's atv accident he had that almost killed him. I mean come on, he shouldn't even be allowed on one his brain is so fried anymore.

 

it was ozzys fault-he probably has no reflexes and was riding too fast on unfamiliar territory-besides, he had the accident and hes not complaing about ATVs

 

Speaking of which I saw that epsiode! He was not even wearing a Helmet!!! He was riding irresposibly and it was totally rider error! He had plenty of people with him and it was practically caught on tape! Not to mention his reflexes are probably not the best!

 

Yeah I saw that episode as well. He was totally at fault.

 

Ozzy crashing:

First of all, the dummy should not be riding without a helmet, which he was. Not to mention the amount of prescription drugs the guy takes everyday that likely say "DO NOT OPERATE MACHINERY"

Not to freaking mention that the clown was riding a BANSHEE fer crissakes. Why a guy that can hardly walk is riding a Banshee is beyond me. He should have been on a nice slow work quad of some kind. Not something that is fast and powerful enough to be a handful for an experienced ATV rider.

I like Ozzy's music but he's a moron for that move. He's set ATVs back another few years in the eyes of too many people.

2. i dont think he was on PERSCRITION drugs. he was probibly on them funny cigarets(or however its spelled)
3. he was an inexperianced burnout on a machine alot of clean people cant handle.
4. what kind of burnt out moron rides a quad that can do 77m/h or any quad for that matter, with out a helmot. that should of told everyone something right there

 

yeah, he definitely isn't strong enough to be riding at all... i went to ozzfest on monday and black sabbath was great, but ozzy hardly moved, and at the end of the show he looked like he was about to fall over just from standing for an hour. i agree... what sharon said (acording to what you said she said... i didn't see the show) she quite conviently left out a lot of the facts....
